Most motorhomes these days come with an inverter because of the residential fridge or it may be an option you can add to a new motorhome purchase. Adding an inverter to a motorhome is not a big deal other than finding a good location for it and running the wire to where you want 110 inverter receptacle. If you want the same receptacle to also work off shore power, that wiring gets more complex. If you only want the TV powered while driving and maybe a DVD player, an inverter only receptacle at the TV would be the simplest way to go. Another option is a 12 volt TV that runs off your existing house battery.
