The TVs in the coaches you mentioned only run on 110 volts. The easiest way to get the TV to work on the road is to run the generator. You can figure about a half gallon of gas per hour.

I installed a 1200 watt inverter in our Vegas, but not to run the TV on the road. We use it to run a small fan when we overnight without an electric hookup, and to power cell phone and computer chargers. I would have to run an extension cord and switch the TV plug to run the TV off the inverter.

You might also consider getting a ipad or laptop that they could watch a movie or play games on.
