According to Dicor the new 2 part sealant will eliminate the cosmetic distortion but will not compromise the sealing. You can check out their media release here.

The link on the page to the discovery bulletin is broken. On their site though, they do explain in Rudy's Expert Roof Care Handbook, the different types of roofs and which sealant is better for your roof. The problem I found is you need to know what type of backing is on the TPO to know which product to use. Without putting a tear in the material, or taking something apart kind of tough to find out what the backing of the TPO is. I ended up calling Thor and they were more than nice to let me know.
