We headed out around 4am from Cottondale Florida and got into Cape Coral 9 hours later (460 miles).

We stopped on I-10 just 63 miles into the trip and fueled at the Flying J (exit 192). DW's car only holds about 10 gallons of gas. Even though it gets around 38mpg I still stopped half way and added 3 gallons out of a gas can.

The Flying J we stopped at wasn't busy at 5am. I looked at several as we passed different exits and there were numerous ones open. Based on the horror stories I heard from social media sites yesterday I was shocked how easy the drive was today.
