If you are considering Utah big 5, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone. If you plan to stay inside the parks, you are late, very late. There are very nice places outside the parks but the best ones book up very quickly. My suggestion is book asap. All that being said, Last year I snagged a spot inside Arches about 10 months out.
