Winter camping in MI:

• Leave the camper winterized--e.g. don't use the water system
• Bring along bottles of the pink stuff
• Use the pink stuff to flush the toilet (e.g. pour it in for your water)
• For drinking water bring bottled water and leave it in the fridge
• Bring lots of warm clothes
• Use a small electric space heater to assist the furnace
• before you arrive fill the propane tank
• Shower elsewhere (or find a campground with shower facilities that are open--if near Frankenmuth the Frankenmuth Jellystone is open year round)
