I get a pretty good rattle and squeaking from the couch/dinette slide in my ACE 30.1. I found that using the slide lock bar that came with the rig calms it down a lot. Major challenge is to remember to remove it before opening the slide. I now tape a warning sticker across the slide switch as soon as I put the slide in.
Our slide bar came with the rig, but if you don’t have one they area easy enough to find. $32 on Amazon.
