The tall part of the rail should be on the outside, at least that is the way it is on my FW and the shower does not leak. It makes sense that the tall part should be on the outside to allow water to run down the shower doors into the track and then back into the shower. If the tall part of the track was on the inside then the water would run into the track, under the doors and then out to the floor.

Everyone I've talked to said theirs' is installed that way. 2 units on dealers lot installed that way. I've told dealer that it's backwards but they said it couldn't be. I think if the whole door assembly was rotated 180°, it would work. Of course the door would open towards the front and not the back.
