1st time RV owner about to pickup Vegas

My wife & I will be picking up a 2017 Miramar 37.1 this Wednesday and I will post my feedback once I'm done with the deal. I can tell you that I'm in FL and not one local dealer was able to match the price. They have been courteous throughout the negotiation process and I'm hoping it continues once we arrive at the dealer. They encourage you to stay the night on the property and test out as much as possible as part of the PDI. More to come....

Did you buy from Lazydays?

Very curious about the experience you guys picking RVs up shortly have and any tips. I'm about 6 weeks out (I hope) from picking mine up from them.

Has anyone used them for service?

Yes it was a short trip maybe 80 miles one-way and 80 back but we have another short trip scheduled later this month then a 1600 mile trip to fl

Have you had your walk through yet just try to stay focoused. There's a lot of information in a short period of time

We examined it two weeks ago and noted some cosmetic flaws. I spoke with the dealer and they indicated they have all been addressed. I have a check list I downloaded that I will use. We plan on remaining one night and if everything is in order leave the following day. It's about a 240 mile trip to home. We do plan on an overnight Sat and head home Sunday. That's the plan. I simply hope it happens according to plan.

Hello, My wife and I will be picking up a 2017 Vegas 25.3 from MHSRV at the end of the month. This site was a major point of research prior to making our decision, so thank you everyone.
We are very excited. The floor plan is perfect for us and I have faith in the FordE450/V10.
I hope to ask questions as needed and pay back by posting any problems/fixes/changes as I go along.

Thank you

Congrats and welcome to the family.

A lot of fantastic folks in this forum.

Welcome, we have a 2017 25.2, love the silly thing. Take your time at orientation, there is so much to learn. Getting close to 10,000 miles of trouble free travel. I attribute the trouble free to spending about 6 hours at orientation. When something doesn't work, I try to stop and think back to the training. Best example, slide would not come in, I'm going "what the ****", my wife asked "where did you put the decorative pillow"? You know the rest.
Enjoy!

Just got back. We had uncovered some cosmetic flaws. A cabinet door came lose. Shelf also came away. They were quickly repaired by the dealer and we were on our way. During the trip we discovered there is a error code occurring on the mobile eye system. Also apparently the show drain is leaking from underneath onto the bathroom floor. The radio has a weak signal and I can not access the wifi extender system.

Did you stick with your plan to overnight? Did you find these during the overnight and show it to the dealer or was the dealer closed on Sunday?

I know the salesperson at MHSRV said that while they do deliveries Mon-Sat, he recommended doing the pickup during the week to insure there were techs available to answer any questions I have or issues I find.

Since I'm waiting for my RV to come into MHSRV, I've been anxiously awaiting your update on how things went. Did you pick up your Vegas this weekend? How did it go?

We did over nite. The initial issues were resolved prior to us leaving. The issues I mention were discovered on the way home. For some reason the shower leak for instance started the occur on the second day after we left. The wifi booster we could not test we there was no signal to boost at the dealer. We have nothing major wrong at present. It's just small issues that hopefully will be resolved. Time will tell how this all shapes up from here.

We picked up our 2017 25.3 this weekend from MHSRV. Being first time RV owners I read bevedfelker's Axis/Vegas Owners' Manual front to back and back to front prior to going. While on the Vegas my wife and I went through the manuals Pre-Delivery Inspection line by line. This was an invaluable resource!(thank you again)
Everyone we dealt with at MHSRV could not have been more helpful. They encouraged us to stay onsite for a couple of days to become comfortable with everything and hopefully find and address any issues prior to leaving. We were assigned an RV tech for a couple of hours to run us through everything. We found two issues while down there, both of which were addressed within minutes. Throughout our two day stay, the salesman and RV tech stopped in on multiple occasions to check on us.
All in all, we had a great time and couldn't be happier with our purchase.
