(Forgive me if this has been covered.) This thread is about planning a couple of get-togethers with those of you who might want to socialize before the start and after the closing of our upcoming rally in Shipshewana South Campground.

First, what are your thoughts on a Dessert Social after dinner (dinner will be on your own) for Thursday evening the 7th ....about 7 pm? Bring your favorite dessert to share with others. Also, bring your own favorite beverage (you won’t have to share your beverage, if you don’t want to :)) I don’t mind hosting outside our rig or around the campground campfire designated area.

Second – A Full blown potluck Saturday evening after the close of the rally….approx. 6-6:30pm – I can talk to the campground to see if we can hold this event indoors or we can hold it around the campfire.

Can you give me your feedback, please?

Damn !!! I wish we could make that !!! If I could any of that, I'm in:socool:

Sounds like great suggestions. We should get a sign up list going for the potluck a week or so in advance so we get all bases covered.

If anyone else is going to be there early, please let us know. We should be out either Monday or Tuesday and were thinking about taking a trip to the RV Museum. Open to other suggestions as well.

Yes to both and I could easily track it on the spreadsheet posted on the other forum

Sounds good to us on both counts.

The Professor and I will be waiting here to greet all of you! We have just completed our 2nd week here in Shipshewana. The weather is great.....and the Amish food is wonderful! If you've never had a ribeye hot-off-the-grill from Yoder's Meat & Cheese Market....you've been missing out. :) Oh, they have buffalo meat, too. All grass fed and hormone free. http://www.yodersmeatshoppe.com/
