Hi, does anyone have a schematic avail for a 2001 Four Winds 5000? Trying to locate the Automatic Transfer Switch and cannot find it anywhere.

No, and schematics show electrical connections, not locations. As mentioned in your other thread, trace the input cable from your Power Center backwards. If you have an ATS, it will have to go to it.

Wiring Schematic Diagram:
People in electronics or electrical engineering most commonly encounter these diagrams. So, what differentiates schematic diagrams, which some also call wiring schematics?

Symbolic Representation: Schematic diagrams use standardized symbols to represent each component, rather than showing the actual appearance or physical layout. For example, unique characters represent resistors, capacitors, and switches.
Logical Connections: This diagram type highlights the electrical connections of components, not their physical locations or real-world wiring setups.
Functionality over Form: Focusing on connections and using symbols, schematic diagrams offer a clear view of a circuit’s operation without drowning in the wiring’s physical details.

Would a 2001 have an ATS? Our prior MH (2004 Thor Chateau Class C) did not. To run on shore power I would pull the 30 amp plug out of an outlet in the cord storage compartment and plug into shore power. To run on generator power I'd put the cord back into the storage compartment and plug it into the outlet located there. The other end of the cord was permanently connected to the MH. It was all self connecting - I had to connect it myself...

That possibility was presented in his other thread but he has gone down the ATS path and says it has worked properly since 2014. This problem only surfaced since he had a new "30 amp plug" installed. Waiting on more info and pictures from him.

Follow the saga in his original thread:
