2012 Zinger 31sb slideout seals

I'm looking to upgrade/replace my 2012 Zinger 31sb slide out seals on the living room and rear bunkroom slide outs. I would like to change them to all black. It looks like the seal and wiper are the same unit. I had a dealer advise me that the slide outs would have to be removed to do this job. Looking at the seals I don't really see any reason to do that. They appear to just be screwed on. Any recommendations/advise would be appreciated.

I'm getting ready to change my slide seal and for me, you don't have to remove the slide. In fact, I never heard of that before. Maybe others have and could let you know.

Find another repair shop or do it yourself if you can.
