We own a 2014 Thor Citation. Batteries drained while vehicle was sitting for a couple months. We metered the cables at the battery coming from the converter when plugged into shore power and there was nothing. We checked and the house lights work when plugged into shore. We checked the breaker for the converter and the large fuses for the converter and both are good. Makes sense since the lights, radio etc work. Just no power at the batteries. Any help is appreciated.

I do not know about your particular setup but on mine if the batteries are too dead the charger thinks there is no battery so it won't kick on.

Try an external battery charger or your emergency start if you have an emergency start switch. This will verify/deny my idea by adding enough power for your internal charger to kick on.

Excellent detail in your post.
Thanks for talking us through on how to help.

Your converter works.

You have two devices between the converter and the house batteries:

The remotely operated battery disconnect (controlled by the USE/STORE switch), and

The DC breaker near the batteries.

On many Class C RVs the breaker is a simple thermal overload with a very small push button reset.

The battery disconnect is a latching relay which gets its power from the house batteries. So if the house batteries are dead it will not change state without externally charging the house batteries.

And then, you may also have a Battery Control Center (BCC) which integrates a lot of these DC components into one location.

How old are existing batteries, most batteries have 3 to 5 years life. I’ve had good luck with Costco batteries they carry a wide selection of quality Interstate batteries
