The propane tank on my Thor ACE has a bent shutoff valve is bent. There is only one point om the handle when the propane will flow. Move turn the knob slightly to the left or right and the propane will no flow. I am looking for recommendation for companies that can repair this tank issue. For some reason, I have yet to find an RV repair center who will do this and, although all the RV centers say that AmeriGas or similar propane suppliers will do the work, they have told me they don't do work on RV propane tanks. Does anyone have an Idea where I should look next?

A new tank will be about the same price as a repair(that no one will do).
Buy a new tank at the place that has treated you the best.

Consider a larger tank while you're at it. The cost will be nominally different.
It's not needed but if an additional reasonable percentage buys you a larger tank...consider it.

No one in their right mind is going to repair a propane tank. The chances of a no propane repair clause being in their insurance policy is probably pretty great.
It is a very easy fix but no one would want the liability.
