According to the Thor floor plan the bed is 2 twins but supposedly convertible to a king. If that is true we are missing a boar that would go from the drawers towards the front and the pad to go over it.

It is really tough to make the beds up and it is short. I'm 5'8", anyone taller would be able to sleep in in

Has anyone reworked the bedding area to make it more functional?

All the RVs we've had have "RV beds". An "RV queen" is shorter than a standard queen mattress. I'm not sure about RV twins but it wouldn't surprise me if they are also shorter.

Is there room for a full length mattress? I put a full queen mattress in our prior MH (Class C). It made the space to walk around the end of the bed a little tighter but it was certainly doable. I can't do that in our current MH (ACE 30.1) as the bed is in a slide out and it'd be impossible to fully retract the slide if the mattress was full size.

There is no way to walk around it now. The beds are against the walls

We have the 2015 24.1.

I'm 6'4, and the wife is 5'3"

Converted ours to full-time King Bed mode. Then, I replaced the mattress with a Costco mattress. King size, of course. So, wall-to-wall bed, and very comfortable.

Anyone taller would need to sleep parallel with the back of the rig to gain a few more inches in bed length.

I'm out of town but will get a picture of your missing part later.
It's a board that bridges the two beds making the drawers between the beds inaccessible.
This is needed for the king conversion.

Otherwise if you're going to keep the twins
Use a sleeping bag or some company with a woman's name sells sleeping bags that are essentially sheets and blankets.
If I remember right they're ridiculously priced but negate bed making.

We have the twins but with queen bedding.
It tucks under the mattress at the wall ssssooo far that it never pulls out.
To change it we just stand the mattress against the wall and do it.

i can see where the piece goes based on the lip around the 2 mattresses. I assume there is a 2nd pad as well. I guess I'll have to order those from Thor

You just need a flat piece of plywood if going with an aftermarket King Size mattress. The foam is only needed if you go with Thor foam singles.

Here is what the board/pad looks like. The integrated cupholders maybe has it misplaced somewhere?
