Hey all,

I was in Dallas a couple of weeks ago during a freeze event. I didn’t winterize my system and I believe my water pump finally gave up the ghost. I just replaced it with a comparable one. This one doesn’t work either. When I checked the voltage at the fuse, it’s 13.6v and at the water pump it’s 5.26v. The pump won’t turn on when I toggle any of the switches. I connected the wires to the new pump exactly the same as the old pump. Any ideas or experience with this one?

Since you have multiple switches you will have a multi-switch controller and since you only have 5.26 volts at the pump, then you have a bad connection somewhere in the wiring or in the controller itself. The controller may look like:

You are awesome. I connected a 12 volt battery charger to the pump and it works perfectly. So that lead me to the thought of a relay of some sort! Would you have any idea where this may be installed?

I don't know for sure in your model RV but many find it in the same area as the water pump.
