2016 National Rally- Update!

There were a lot of the Lippert aluminum 4-steps at the RV show. I tried a few of them and not quite sure what the advantage was for going to aluminum. If anything I think they flexed more. Of course at an RV show they get a lifetime of use in one weekend.

I'm thinking they would be lighter and maybe a little easier on the hands, opening and closing.

"Lighter" - Strike that, I'll stick with easier on the hands, opening and closing.

I replaced the steps after the last rally. I feel that they are lighter and easier for my wife to pull open. I feel that it was a good change for my coach.

We also tried them at an RV show and saw no difference and folding was the same. I guess if you just want the new look?? We would still have to put carpet on them for our dogs so not worth the money to me. If I were to upgrade it would be to electric.

I was thinking about the step upgrade too, but since I have a FL, there are two steps up upgrade.
Do not mind the weight so much, I do like how solid the current steel steps feel, do not want to loose that solid feel if I go to the new aluminum steps.

I tried the new steps and like steve I would cover them with carpet so no real advantage. If I upgrade it would be to electric ones
