Hey all new to the forum. Just bought a low mileage Pallazzo 2016. Waiting to get it from the dealer. They had to fix some issues prior to taking possession. They had to replace big slide motors and refrigerator as its not cooling real well. Also noticed the valves by the dump station were all hard to turn so they need to look at that. Driver's seat was a little loosey goosey so they are replacing the pedestal. Great looking unit. However no one was able to tell me about the tranny and the mode and selector and how to drive it up and or down the mountains. Freightliner didn't give me any help and thor does not have information on the owners site talking about the operations of the l transmision. Tried looking for videos but no luck. I know how to use the exhaust brake but thought there would be info on how to operate selections of the transmissions. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance

I have a Palazzo 2017 33.2. Probably not much difference except your 6.7 lt diesel I’m guessing is 340 hp where mine is 300 hp. 6 speed Transmission is typewriter Neutral, Drive , Reverse and air brakes/ parking brakes pull switch. Top of gear section is up or down button to change gear manually. Get in and learn as you go. You should be able to go to Thor.com enter VIN # and register it you get a lot of basic info. And don’t forget you get the worst radio with 10” touch screen for cameras and turn signal camera. As for the knobs in the water / sewer bay knobs turn hard and sewer pulls snap to push close.

Does your have a mode button on the tranny selector? If that gets pushed it looks like a light comes on. Not sure if there is an economy mode and performence or what. Thx in advance.

I’ve never used the buttons on selector but was thinking when it’s in drive you can manually down shift using buttons or up shift as needed.

Also did you upgrade your camera radio?
Not the radio but I added this to the dash for $120 so CarPlay works from my phone for maps
