Hello everyone. So my wife and I just purchased our 2016 thor vegas 25.2. We went to the owners home to check it out. Everything worked great all electrical appliances etc. Generator worked perfect as well. Ford V10 only had 8312 miles and ran and drove great. They had documentation of all maintenance. Wich made me feel good. We'll long story short I drove it home and parked it. Went in and showed my brother in law how everything worked. Well I did something wrong when I started the generator and was playing around with it. The next day I went to the coach and turned on the store in use button and the radio did not turn on wich it usually does. And the power shade does not function at all. And when I turn the ignition there is not a sound. Fog light swith also does nothing. The only switches below the radio that works is the generator start. I must have blown a breaker. But I have checked the house battery buusman breaker and reset it and pushing in the yellow flag and also the same style breaker by the chasis battery. And nothing. I have the coach plugged into shore power and the store in use button on. I'm baffled.

Thank you I will give that a try. My wife and I are newbies to the motorhome world. Had a small 5th wheel before the vegas

I had the 'Store/Use' relay go bad on a prior RV. I guess its last gasp was to switch off (Store) but then it wouldn't switch back to 'Use". If your batteries are not discharged (less than 9 - 10 volts often means they essentially dead) that might be something to look for. I don't know where they hid the relay, however... You'd have to follow the wires from the switch to find it.

Sounds like your chassis battery is flat. Have you tried measuring the voltage?

Yep - no start of the engine is a Chassis Battery issue. Would also explain the radio no power (memory power comes from the chassis battery) as well as the rest of "no response" items.

Maybe you left the headlights or something else on or maybe the chassis battery just won't hold a charge overnight anymore. I had mine fail to start after just stopping for gas a few years ago.

You can start the generator and try the emergency start switch, but remember, if you put the USE/STORE switch in STORE when plugged in neither the house nor the chassis battery will charge. Always leave the USE/STORE switch in USE unless leaving ther RV stored for more than a few days without being plugged in to SP.

Thanks everyone. I tried the emergency start with the generator and nothing my chassey battery must be at the point of no return. My house batteries get charged when plugged into shore power. The only thing that works on my switches below the radio is the generator switch and the cab light switch for the lights above the bed. They must use the house battery power.

Yep!

The very 1st thing I did when I bought our '18 Axis was to replace all 3 batteries. House batteries were original '18s; chassis was '20. All still good, but better safe than sorry!
The chassis battery is a bit*h to get to, remove, then replace. I bought the best AGM I could find to assure myself I wouldn't need to do that for quite sometime! As a precaution, I also added remote battery terminals routed to right behind the grill incase I ever need to jump.

Thank you. My voltage on my chassis battery was 2.12 volts. Completely dead. I'm going to change my chassis battery to the best AGM and also my to house batteries. I think my chassis battery is a group 65. If a group 27 fits I will go with that.
