2017 Compass TV Splitter Location?

We just bought a new (to us) 2017 Thor Compass 23TR and the antenna and park cable inputs gives us barely anything on any of the 3 TVs.

I have turned the pre-amp on and off on the plate above the fridge. Running a small external TV plugged into the connector above the fridge I have signal.

The problem appears isolated to a 3 way splitter hidden somewhere in the coach. It is not behind the microwave and I have exhausted all methods I know of tracing a coax cable throughout the coach.

Does anyone have a clue where Thor hid this 3-way splitter? I called Thor support and they tell me it could be anywhere.

In the interim I have purchased a Digital Conversion box from Amazon and am using the HDMI output of it to feed the HDMI switch above the fridge. I have signal now to all 3 TVs with the antenna input on the conversion box - but it is HDMI signal - not OTA direct from the Antenna / Cable to the TV RF inputs.

Thanks

I would imagine it being behind the booster above the fridg. Does that panel have a screw on each corner

Thanks for your input Jimbo, however there is no actual booster above the fridg - the antenna preamp (booster) is an integral part of the antenna. The wall plate with the LED and push switch which I think you refer to is just a 12 volt DC pass-thru to power the antenna's internal pre-amp through the Brown coax to the antenna. I have removed the plate and can see the 3 coax cables going UP and to the right parallel to the top of the cabinet behind the wall. White coax to the side mounted "Park cable" receptical and the Gray coax cable goes to the elusive 3-way splitter.

I agree with Jim that it logically has to be near the DC injector plate above the fridge. Thor makes cabinets with false bottoms and sides that are stapled along the edges that could easily hide a splitter. You may have to follow the direction of the "injector's" TV out cable and do some deconstructing. Heck, it could even be behind the fridge.

This unfortunately makes sense. But the deconstruction part I was hoping to avoid. Looks like no choice. Ugh

Thanks for the advice.

Any chance you could beg, borrow , rent a snake camera to peak around, might be easier to drill a few small holes if you have to before you open walls or remove cabinet bottoms, just a thought.

There may be screws in the side panels of the cabinet. There are where my cabinets have wires run in the hollow area. But staples are easily replaced with screws as well.

Thats a great idea GD3 and will probably end up just buying one from Amazon. I saw a few in the mid $20 USD range. I am sure I will eventually have a need for one again in the future. (tool purchase justification statement)

Which is, mind you, just prolonging the inevitable of performing the deconstruction removing panels most likely.

We carry an inexpensive outdoor TV antenna and have a telescoping push-up pole which we tie onto a post or tree limb when we park. We feed the antenna cable to the Park Cable connector on the side of the Compass and watch TV via the HDMI distribution box through the Digital RF Conversion tuner.
