Just bought this unit and I am a bit disturbed by all of the negative comments, especially since we are having some problems right out of the chute also. We took it for our first drive yesterday and are looking forward to a trip soon. Sure hope we didn't throw our money away.

Well if you use it and are happy with it then its money well spent.

Keep in mind that forums like this attract people with issues: Many are simply looking for help, others to complain, etc. The ones without issues are out camping and thus you won't find them here (with a few exceptions LOL).

2017 Thor

Radio not wired correctly, keeps draining battery. SRS light on and awning does not shut correctly. My problem is that I live 2 1/2 hours from dealer and 1 1/2 hours from Mercedes dealer. I am hoping that a local service agent for Thor can help me resolve these issues. They are seemingly minor but disappointing to have occurred so soon after purchase. I think that I had my expectations too high. We will see. Thanks for the encouragement.

Yup they are compared to some on here; call yourself lucky.

Thor is pretty good at allowing local service shops work on warranty issues. The trick is finding a local shop that will work on your rig when you didn't purchase it there.
