I have a 2017 Thor Chateau 31E. Before taking a trip in January I noticed my chasis battery was dead. I charged it up, took the trip and came back home and plugged into a shore power 30 amp outlet I have. All was good until I went in the other day and found the lights running very dimly on the house batteries. Checked the breaker at the plug in spot and it was tripped and I could not reset it. Changed it out with another and shore power fired right back up. However, both house batteries (less than 1 year old) will not charge and the chasis battery (2 years old) still goes dead. I have checked the usual fuses and all appears good even though something is not quite right. Any help would be appreciated and thanks!

House batteries not charging on SP?
Check:
Converter on and output > 13.3 VDC
Power Center Reverse Polarity fuses are good
USE/STORE (Main Power) switch in USE (ON). Push the switch. Any indicating light does not indicate the battery disconnect latching relay position. If house batteries are too dead they will need to be jumped to move the latching relay.
50 amp DC breaker near the house batteries is not tripped.
All battery cables are connected properly and not loose.

The chassis battery will not charge until the house batteries are charged. Fix the house battery problem first.

Thanks! I will start with the converter and go from there. What do you mean when you say the house batteries will need to be jumped?

If the batteries are well & truly dead, you will need a 'jump' (a healthy 12V battery or a car jump starting device) to supply the current needed to get the latching relay (part of the Use/Store system) to operate. Connect the jumping battery + to + & - to -.

I jumped the house batteries and the relay kicked in. Convertor turned on and is currently reading 13.6 so hopefully batteries will come back to life. Thanks for your help and is there anything else I should be on the lookout for? Also will the convertor charge the chasis battery once the house batteries are charged?

Possibly. Some Class C RVs are not set up to allow charging the chassis battery from the converter. You would need to check your electrical drawings available from the Thor Owners Resource website.

But I would suspect yours does. And then, of course, the circuitry that connects the battery banks for charging has to be working properly.
