2018 Axis 25.3 Headlight aiming

Just picked up our rig and the headlights aim too low. I found the two adjusting holes in the fiberglass and am hoping someone knows the correct tool to use before I try every tool in my box. Phillipshead? Socket? Star? Hex?

Unless someone else pops up with the correct answer, I'd say start with phillips and work your way thru your tool box. Can't really tell from the pic, but the hole looks small, if in fact, that is the adjuster. you will probably have to climb underneath and sit up to adjust and see what you are doing. Make sure you do a proper adjustment, and not a "I think that looks ok" job.
 
Motorhomes notoriously have weak headlights. You might consider replacing the lights with brighter bulbs. For us, we rarely drive on the dark, so I haven't considered that mod.

The last vehicle I adjusted the headlights required a phillips screwdriver, that probably hasn't changed.

Thanks for this, mine came almost pointed at the ground! I'll try this tonight on my 24.1.

Note that head lights pointed too low are an indication that Ford pointed them correctly when the chassis was bare but the weight of the coach pushed the chassis down in the front.

One poster contended that a nose down chassis attitude is why many coaches have poor handling. This can be corrected by a good alignment shop. Get it level or slightly nose up and handling will improve.

So before you adjust your headlights you may want to align the coach to its correct attitude, ie more caster.

Most, if not all rigs have the headlights installed in the front cap, and on my rig, the headlights are in the cap, not installed on the frame, so they were installed by the coach manufacturer, not Ford.

These are my bulbs of choice. Don't buy them without double checking the Timmy thread. I ordered for the axis and the f150 the same day and I don't remember which fits which.
But
I'd change the housing also.
I'm not exactly pleased with the throw of the axis housing.

Post 213 and 216 in my signature thread are about hooking up a hidden light bar which shines through the axis grill.
