Electric step stopped working. Left the motorhome for a few hours and when I came back, steps would not deploy. Looking for the location of the fuse. Any ideas?

There's lots of reasons for the step not to deploy other than a fuse blowing for no reason, including a dead chassis battery. On many Kwikee step models there is a fuse right by the step controller below the step mount.

Thanks for the reply. Checked fuse...it's good. When I turn engine on you can hear the auto retract sound on the step unit. But when opening the door, step light comes on, but it does not deploy the steps.

Check the magnet relay attached to the inside, hinged side of the door...usually mounted near the bottom. Most likely on the screen door. It may have shifted or gotten knocked loose/off. Also check the area (cam) where the step arm connects to the motor shaft. There's a cotter key type connection that can work loose and disconnect the steps from the rotating shaft of the motor. The motor will actually run back and forth but no step in/out action.
