Hello All,
I recently bought my 2020 Thor 24.1; 3rd trip hooked up to City Water Supply with Pressure Valve & Filter attached. Water started inside cabin flowing from behind the Couch flooding cabin.
Then I manually Filled Up the Water Tank on the passenger side with hose & Turned on Water Pump. Water started flowing from behind the sink cabinet.
Don’t know what is causing this water leak problem? I did buy the Warranty when purchasing this RV.
I have made an appointment for service on the way home from this trip. Not sure if Warranty will cover?
Has anyone experienced a similar problem with water flowing through cabin or know what the solution is?

Thank you, Angela A.

Yep... sounds like split PVC fittings from freezing. Simple enough to put eyes on the problem. Just remove a couple kitchen drawers and look under. Have someone flip the water pump on while you watch the pipes... be ready to immediately flip the pump switch off when you identify the leak(s). Pass that info on to your RV tech.

Or
Your pressure regulator failed and the high shore pressure popped your lines.

It's about 10:1 it's freeze damage because you have two leaks,
BUT
Split lines are yet another reason to ever never use shore water.

if it's either of the above, or any of a dozen other causes, warranty won't cover it.

Prepare for the worst answer from the warranty folks
But,
The damage caused by the leak will be structurally of VERY small consequence and the cosmetic will maybe make you mad but it's just not a thing.

And
The toilet is the farthest forward thing with water on that side of a 24.1
I don't know how it would get to the slide.

Pex is an easy fix, faucets are cheap. If your water heater is ok the costs will be minimal.

On youtube look up;

FWIW, a Thor Vegas is a Class A, not a Class C. :)

EDIT: 16ACE27 fixed it.

What chassis are those 'ruv' things on?
All Thor RUVs appear to be on either the E350/E450 or Transit chassis. But since they're not consistent with the "RUV" moniker, there could be more.

Google mostly brings up Axis/Vegas for an RUV search.

But here's the term being applied to a Compass (by a Dealer):

I live in warm Southern California…hopefully it won’t cost too much to fix? Thank you for the input.

Thank you to all of your inputs & advice…I’m am very new to RV’ing & appreciate your help.

don’t know how the lines would have gotten frozen?
Previous owner went camping in the mountains? Maybe now you know why it was being sold?

Bottom line is:
No magic button to fix it
Our crystal balls are only so good.
You can't get it fixed until you know where the water is coming from.
You may need to get a flashlight, some tools, and get dirty finding the source of the leak, OR
Time to establish a relationship with a good mobile mechanic.

Hindsight says all systems should have been tested before purchase was made.
