My RV recently started leaking from the black tank pipe at the coupler. I put on some rubber flex seal let it cure but the leak hasn't stopped. A drop leaks every 30 secs or so. Short of replacing the pipes till the valve what options do I have?

In the attached diagram it is leaking from the #8 and #17 join. I see it was likely leaking from start as Camping World seems to have applied gobs of silicone caulk around it.

Never heard of using etrnabond to keep liquid in, only to keep liquid out.
It's a perspective.. the liquid is still being kept out (from reaching the ground)... :sneaky::):)

I ordered the tape you mentioned. Will update in a week once back home. Thanks @Lt Keefer !

Make sure you throughly clean the silicone from the pipe. Use Oatey plumbers sand cloth to make it easy. Cut a strip about 1 foot + wrap around pipe in a u shape and use it like an old time shoe shine.

Use the Keefer tape.
I've been using it since 1977.
It used to be exclusively expensive and was orange with a green stripe.
I have repairs that are 30 years old and still holding.

In the mean time:
A diaper wrapped around it and duct tape to hold it on will do until Keefer tape gets to you.
