I want to replace the couch with dual recliners, but a furnace duct runs from under the kitchen counter to the right side of the couch that is next to the driver's seat.
The duct heats the front end of the couch so how would I handle the heat duct if I replace the couch? Just wondering what others have done.

Pictures of space you want the recliners in and models of recliners would help. Are these free standing recliners or will they bolt down? IMO off the top of my head get recliners where the seats are very low and build a platform floor for ductwork and chairs go on top but do not stick out passed chairs.

I've seen solution to the problem that included either running the duct out a new register cut into the center console, if so equipped, of the new recliners or running the duct behind the recliners and then terminating it in a 90 degree boot aimed towards the center aisle.

Dual recliners (a couch with built in recliners) should have plenty of room for the duct to run along the floor behind the bottom of the recliners. How you finish it on the other end is up to your imagination. Look at Mods done to 27K and 27.1 table area? post #15. That's what John & Diane did in their RV and I copied their example.

Here is a pic of the original sofa, the 6" duck comes out where the arrow points to and comes from the backside of the kitchen counter. Just looking at RecPro manual dual 67" recliners and the opening is 68" so nut much area to terminate the duct out from the side. The couch is in the full wall slide out also.

Thanks for everyone's ideas. I found a picture of the same couch for sale with recliners, and it looks like they did just as PS89 said, the duck comes out from the front of the center console.

So the vent is actually built-in to the couch?

I didn’t find a unit, it was a pic of an rv for sale. The 67’ RecPro dual recliner has a 9” center console so it looks like I’ll be cutting a 6” hole in front for the vent.

This exactly what we did with ours as well. Works just fine and no issues routing duct to center console

We're looking to replace the "dream dinette" with a reclining love seat. It is located on the one slider we have in our 25' Chateau. It is situated so there is no way to comfortably watch the TV above the bunk. Right now I watch it on reverse in a mirror over my husband shoulder as he sits across from me. The seats are very uncomfortable also. Triggers my sciatica if I sit too long.
Is this a difficult task? We have venting on other side, nothing but storage under the benches. I found a 58" Recpro that will fit nicely on Amazon. TYIA

I installed two Lazy Boy wall hugger recliners in my 2021 Thor 29M. I added a plywood platform and bolted the chairs to it . I boxed the duct work in and added a vent on the left also. I then covered the floor and duct work with carpet to match what is in the cab area.

This is what I was thinking and didn't find your thread before I posted a similar question. How do you like the set up?
