Just purchased this RV and found a few issues. This is the first that is a must-fix. There is a leak in the Kitchen sink drain. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, what was the best fix? I am fairly handy and will be attempting to fix this myself.

Buy part at rv supply place and replace

(Some of you old guys will remember the pastel orange tape with the greenstripe? You stretchd it until the redline broke then wrapped tight? I had that on a side pipe header leak for over three years)

For the future;
Pex and sharkbite fittings and a box cutter or pipe scissors.

(Buy extra pex and sharkbites for on-the-road repairs)

Higher quality pictures will help but that appears to be a transition between the sink's side drain and a flexible hose that transits the slide?

My city water connection enters the slide. Thor used the ordinary reinforced vinyl "washer hose" to transit the slide and connect to pex. I pop the board off the dining bench every so often to make sure it's not binding, rubbing or kinked. Necessary evil I guess.

Now a drain using flexible components is another animal. I'd consider trying to use adapters and larger flexible rubber hose. That plastic corrugated stuff is not my cup of tea... The ridges tend to collect gunk. JMO.
