Hello,

Own a 2022 Thor Miramar 34.6 on a 2021 F-53 Chassis. Out of the blue the horn does not function, can hear no clicking anywhere.

I have pulled the fuse and it is good. I cannot locate the Horn Relay anywhere. There are no relays in the power distribution box nor are any listed in the manual. I checked under the dash behind the speedometer where the fuses for the blowers are. I checked down by the drivers side feet and I checked all over under the hood. Any help would be appreciated, perhaps they integrate them into the horn now?

Thanks,

Nick

Looks like fuse #1 to me on the 2021 F53 chassis fuse diagram.

Yes, I pulled fuse #1 and it is good, I even used my multimeter to make sure, not just visual.

Next, I was going to check the horn relay but can't seem to find any mention of one anywhere.

Appreciate it ACE, but the problem is, I can't find that box anywhere if it even still exists on the 2021 frame / 2022 model. If you look at the first one you posted, that is what I have and it is completely different. There is no mention of the second panel you posted in my 2021 owners manual. In fact on the 2021 they don't list any relays on the panel that are used!

In our 2015 ACE (2014 F53 chassis) the Power Distribution Box is way up high in the engine compartment. I have to practically get inside the engine compartment and reach up to get at it. And the latch is not very easy to open - it's mostly by feel because I can't see it clearly.

This is what I have way up high in the engine compartment, it would seem that Ford decided to change at some point. This to me looks like the power distribution box, but there are no relays inside at all, just fuses right above radiator behind the air cleaner box. here are 2 pics of location up above radiator and what it looks like open. I may take the engine hatch off and look on that side. There are NO relays in the box. Yes, i have to about climb in to get at it.

I may take the doghouse off tomorrow to look on backside because I see no other boxes in there. My pics match up with ACE's first schematic that mentions fuse #1. But I cant find another box anywhere.

Yeah, that was a Google mis-direction. Searched for a 2021 chassis horn relay and the first link was to a 2019 chassis, that I did not notice.

The only other box per the 2021 manual is inside the cab but it doesn't have any horn fuses in it.

yup, so brings me back to my original post, i guess in 2021 that ford deleted the relay and made it internal to the horn because I cant find one. Will dig into it after our trip. gonna use an air horn and window lol.

Oh and btw there are three internal fuse panels and one external! one under the bed for the house, one by the driver side left foot and one behind the speedometer oh and don't forget the one above the radiator. Ugh, all do a whysmical mix of chassis and house functions it seems lol.

The other two are Thor installed.

There is another thread about an older Miramar with faulty horn. That one turned out to be a loose connector under the dash.
