I guess my question is, would it be easier to disassemble the wiring harness or remove this trim? As you can see in the picture there’s a screw going right through the wiring harness that is trapped between the siding and metal tube.

Yikes! Is the wiring damaged? If not leave it be and go buy a lottery ticket before your luck changes...

To be honest I'm not sure how that trim is attached or removed. Maybe it's glued or snaps into position?

Well, I’ve pulled a trailer with it twice. But it can’t be good. I’m either gonna disassemble the trailer wire and pull the wires out or remove that snap trim or whatever that screw cover is.

Is the head of that screw accessible - even slightly? Could you turn it in (pliers on the exposed threads), cut off the head, then thread it through & out?

Are you sure the screw is from the siding and not from a clamp securing that loom to the frame member? Opening up that trim piece would be my last resort. I would open the loom first and try to wiggle the wires out. You could then inspect them are make any required repairs with out possibly damaging the appearance of the siding.

Yeah, I’m 100% positive. The sheet metal screw comes from outside through the siding into the metal frame.
