Say hello to the new 26.2 floor plan, the latest addition to the Axis® and Vegas® motorhome brands. This new 2025 floor plan sleeps four, provides lots of closet space, and has convenient twin beds that can convert into a comfortable King-size bed—an ideal sleeping arrangement if you’re traveling with friends or your partner. For 2025, the Axis® and Vegas® include a convection microwave oven with an air fryer, a handy exterior camp-side spray port, and sleek new partial paint options with matte black wheel simulators.

I did somewhere see a new model preview that is the 24.1 but with the shower where the op unit has that extra closet. With the 24.1 bathroom doors that gives you a 7ft wide bathroom with the doors set.

I'd buy that as my next rv.(we hope to never have a 'next' rv. We should be fine with this one for another 15 years)

Same here keeping vegas unless we go big.
My next 30 foot baystar

I suspect it will be built on the E450 chassis and will be a little longer than the 24.1.

Yes, specs show it’s on E-450, and 18 inches longer than 24.1. Both plans look near identical except for extra length added for larger bathroom on driver side and greater closet space on passenger side. Interesting they didn’t make kitchen a little longer given extra length. Maybe they did not want fridge across from bathroom in what would be an aisle?

What’s most interesting to me is that Axis/Vegas are presently down to 3 floor plans, and all have rear bedrooms and do not require a slide to extend in order to use the main bed. Gone are all the “Murphy bed” floor plans they tried but eliminated. I’m not surprised thinking most buyers prefer conventional beds even if it reduces storage somewhat for a given motorhome size.

That 26.1 and about $5000 in bedroom mods would be our choice.
24.1 twin beds and move that bathroom/bedroom wall to 24.1 specs.
Perfect.(we have no complaints about our current bathroom)

I never understood the Murphy bed.
'Hey Flo! This looks like the torment we need in our lives! Let's say yes to this!"

Based on new 26.2 essentially being a longer 24.1, I’m curious if Thor took opportunity to upgrade rear compartment design to make it even larger and more useful. I kind of doubt it because 26.2 outside storage isn’t that much greater than 24.1. Specs show same wheelbase, so if 18 inches of added length is all at back, the rear compartment could be made larger to hold bikes and other larger items. We’ll see soon enough I suppose.

Love our new 26.1. :D
It’s in the shop now replacing the silly cheap roof vents with MaxxAirs. And rotating the sewer door 90° so that it hinges on the left and is out-of-the-way when hooking up the sewer.

The only warranty issues so far are bent heater box that heats the kitchen cabinet more than the bathroom, low flow at bathroom sink (flow is too low to trigger Girard instant water heater) and the bumper has started to rust already.

Detail video on new 26.2.

I believe he says that cab overhead bed is now optional, which reminded me of a post from many years ago suggesting it.

Large rear outside storage looks the same as 24.1, so extra length not used to increase that compartment’s size. Not bad overall though. There is so much storage, especially inside.

Love that he mentions a bunch of times being able to use motorhome without slide being extended. Thor should really consider offering a slide delete option.
