5500 W Cummins generator start

I recently purchased a 2021 Winport 34R everything seem to work and the generator started fine. I’ve had the RV in my barn for a couple months and I decided to start my generator. I first went to the generator itself held the stop button down till the prime light went solid. I tried to hit the start switch nothing happened No clicks or nothing. I then went inside and tried to start generator from the driver seat generator switch would not start. I then went to the bedroom and there is also a remote switch to start to generator. I pushed the start switch in the bedroom and the generator started up and ran well. Is there something I’m not doing correctly or another switch? I need to turn somewhere else? Your input advice will be greatly appreciated.

All switches are wired in parallel. Sometimes, remote harness connector gets corroded but that only affects the remote switches. After it started, did you shut it down and try starting at the other switches again? Might have been a poor solenoid connection that finally made contact the third try.

I found a wire on the left side of the generator. It was a red one that had rubbed into, I spliced the wire and generator starts from all for starting points. Thanks again guys.
