Thinking of buying a 2013 CF335SS.My tow vehicle is a 2012 Silverado 2500HD ext cab short box,6L engine with 4.10 rear end.My concern is the 2639 LB pin weight. Is this okay?If not what is the max pin weight I should look at

We own a 2012 model - trailer weight from the factory was 10,050 lbs. Brochure lists the pin weight of 1942 lbs. The 2013 model lists a pin weight of 1980 lbs.</span>

I think your 2012 Silverado 2500HD has a GVWR of 10,000 lbs (check the door sticker). The truck weight is probably around 7200-7300 lbs. With passengers and fuel you will be close to the GVWR of the truck but it should tow it without any problems with the 4.10 rear end.</span>
If you purchase it I would put air bags on the truck.
Also make the dealer put the bed slide in and out at least a dozen times. If there is any slight indication of a problem with how it seals against the side of the trailer or indication of any dragging of the slide on the floor that loads down the gears - make them fix the problem before you purchase the unit (read my posts and you will know why - significant SCHWINTEK IN-WALL SLIDE issues on the early 2012 models).

You shold be fine. If your truck is a gasser it should only weigh about 6400 pounds with fuel and a passenger. That gives you over 3000 for pin weight, etc. My gasser only weighs 6400 with fuel, hitch, tool box, and passenger. Diesels get up into the 7200-7400 range or higher. Truck should do fine, mine does.
