Has anybody had any experience with either the Firestone R4Tech Air ride system or the Kelderman brand air ride?

The Firestone seems easy to install by what I see on youtube and about $1000.00 less than the Kelderman from what I can see.

We have the Firestone Ride Rites... love them! Really smooths out the ride. They cost about $800 installed.

I have the Keldermen on my F550

and it levels up nice and it makes the
ride really nice when not towing and have not had any trouble with it. I was
not sure about the 550 just for the ride but when I tried it out it was nice
with the air ride. I don’t know about the install because it was on mine when I
got the truck</span>

Thanks for the information! I haven't actually talked with anyone who had that system but it looks impressive on the web. I need something because my wife normally doesn't mind traveling as long as she can read but with my rig it gets a little hard on her eyes.

Dave,

Prior to deciding on our RW purchase, I was dealing with a semi-custom 5th wheel supplier who provided 20 or more upgrade options for their product. One of those options was an air-ride axel system for the trailer that could also be used for leveling the trailer. All of the customer reviews said it made the trailer ride and pull like "silk". Among other componets, it had air bags at each wheel. That system was made and installed by Kelderman.

Based on what I read about the Kelderman product (you can look at their web site also), it certainly reads like an excellantoption to investigate.
