Anyone have this problem?

After I dewinterized and refilled with fresh, my water in every faucet., both hot and cold is totally fizzy like a certain stomach remedy that used to say "plop plop fizz fizz..." - you get the picture. It doesn't matter whether it's from fresh water tank or city water. We don't drink the water but am afraid to use it for shower now.

It's especially noticeable in the toilet where it will fizz for 2 or 3 seconds and then go clear.

I've probably run 50 gals through the system by now and it hasn't gone away. I've never seen this. Anyone had this problem?

Me too at first, but no "pink" to be seen. We're on our annual trip to Myrtle Beach so counting my house, that's the third different water supply and I still have it. The only changes since last year are the antifreeze, a new identical water filter, and a new identical anode rod (I buy two of everything). No leaks either. What a head scratcher...

Mike we have the same problem. Speedy fizz water. This was our second week and it still remains. This weekend I am going to drain the hot water tank and start over. I'm wondering if it is residual antifreeze and just takes time to be rinsed out. Hope there is an answer out there.

Wonder if they changed the composition of the antifreeze over the last few years. I would get it on my Montana too- I could always tell it was there using the outside sprayer on the street.

You fellows could be on to something. We've never experienced that problem since we stopped forcing the RV to Drink the Pink KoolAide.
Makes things so much easier not going through that routine anymore.

Maybe it is the antifreeze, but wouldn't air infiltration also do that ?

maybe it's cavitation in the pump making the water / air mix ????

just offering an alternative...

You might be on to something. I was thinking it might be infiltration on the low pressure side as there are no leaks. I'll have to check the fittings but then again, no leaks with city water side either so go figure...

John,

That could be, given whenever I see the foam I just dewinterized the system and there is probably air in quite a few places. I don't have leaks, or the water pump would occasionally let me know.

I drain everything whenever we park it, so now I wonder if it foams each time I recharge it. Cmon spring!! Snow every other day around here

If it did it all the time I could believe that, but it goes away in about a day, but again check that antifreeze suction hose cap. That gave Dave fits for a while before he found it.

We are camping in Myrtle Beach this week as well! At which campground are you staying? We are at Myrtle Beach Travel Park and we are the only Redwood here!

Just having gone through an "episode", my vote is that you've got air in the system; either residual from the commissioning process, or a loose connection somewhere.

Road Warriors: We are staying at Lakewood Campground on SC17 (I think) Ha. Looks like we're the only Redwood here as well. We are on an oceanfront site so I'm happy as a pig in ____. There are hundreds of sites here, so I'm going Redwood hunting tomorrow AM.

We're at the KOA in Myrtle beach. 2012RL.

I'm pretty sure that is caused by the antifreeze. I had the same problem with my old SOB. Try adding a 1/4 cup of Clorox to about 20 gallons and flush through system and see if that helps. I always added a Clorox to my system in the spring to kill bacteria before I started a new season. I didn't seem to have the fuzzy water afterwards after I started using Clorox. Just my .02 worth.
