I'm trying to source this stuff..... Our 2002 Chateau has some sort of weird insert trim around the waist of the house and it's failing. It's not the standard vinyl stuff, but a hard plastic that slips into1" wide track molding around the entire RV house.
The original is very brittle and some areas are cracked, or downright missing. I did try to remove a small piece that was already failing and it crumbled into fragments.... She done!

Does anyone know where to get this OG trim molding? Or can I simply replace it with 1" vinyl stuff?
The grooves of the track appear to function identically the that of the vinyl roof trim up top.

BINGO! That looks identical to the original. I think you actually FOUND what I couldn't. It's a bit pricey, but I'll probably still order a run of this ridged plastic 3/4" trim you linked to see if it is the same. And if so, I'll order another 25Ft to do most of the other side (which is brittle and cracking also).
I already ordered 100ft of the 1" vinyl earlier this evening thinking it was my only option. It won't be wasted if it doesn't work because that's what's used topside and the roof membrane will have to be replaced within the next year or two... I'll use the 1" then for sure and probably need to order more at that time just to finish it.
