And another leak

I am sure I am not the only one to have a water leak in this big storage compartment, but I haven't found anything with the search. It's right at the door. Always right inside of it. I have replaced the seal, but I am still getting water in. I can't figure out where it's coming from. I have felt all around the top of the door on the inside and the sides, and they aren't wet. It's just at the bottom. Thoughts?

Get inside, have your trusted assistant close the door and spray the side of the rig with your garden hose. Bring a flashlight (& a sandwich, you might be in there a while depending on your relationship...). Or maybe put a GoPro or smartphone inside to record a video if you don't have an assistant you trust.

It is not leaking through the door.

Are you able to dry it out easily. Here is what I would do to avoid being locked inside that compartment...

1. Drain all water from fresh water tank. Make sure the bottom is soundly dry. Leave open to air out etc.
2. Check weather forecast for rain. If rain is near wait on the rains and inspect afterwards.
3. Assuming still dry or no rains, start with water hose around the door. Don't over pressure the water but make for a good rain storm, wait on the outside to dry and inspect.
4. Assuming still dry and still no rain. Fill fresh water tank, don't use any water but wait, inspect after a day.
5. If rain is in forecast wait on rain test, if rain is still not in forecast, you may consider moving out of the desert , I heard it does not rain in Indianapolis in the summer time, it might be true :whistling:
6. If still dry, I would start with plumbing, one fixture at a time, starting with the plumbing that is closes to that door. You may have to wait a full day to isolate the plumbing fixtures.

While you are testing, I am gonna place my bet that says your bathroom sink and/or shower has a leak under the floor and it simply flows to that compartment. Likely a fitting that has worked loose with the pressurize water so I predict you will see BEFORE you get a chance to test each fixture and BEFORE it rains in Indiana.

FWIW, we were looking to by a Quantum ( I think it was 28 or 29'), we got caught inside of it at a Dealers lot as a massive rainstorm came through. The coach was nice and cold; so we just stayed in waiting on the storm to pass, we must have seen 4 water leaks

My daughter did this for me not long after I bought ours. It leaks through the thumb cam latches.

Thor replaced our rotted storage floor 4 years ago on our 2019 Aria 3401 and it immediately started leaking again. My husband took it all out, cut and measured 1/2" plywood and painted two coats of high quality exterior paint on the tops and bottoms and ALL edges. Reinstalled and caulked everything with a high quality exterior waterproof product. Have not had a single leak since then.

I did not read if you checked caulking around door, water fill , horizontal seam at storage deck etc…. If there is a small crack in chaulking a light rain or mist will be enough for water to get in

Check the seal on the tail light. Both of my seals were corrupt. And the wall beneath both tail lights were rotted out.

We have a 2018 Thor Hurricane 35M. We kept having a leak inside the rig, that would just appear out of nowhere and one of our Sani flushes for the black tank didn't work. After a trip to Camping World (we were still in our first year).
The Tech discovered that the Sani Flush anti siphon was installed backward. After pressure is removed from the Sani flush it relieves itself of water, just enough that it would dry. We also might have been pouring water into the area when I tried to use the Sani flush. Thus the valve was turned around and leak was gone.
What is in the area of that cabinet that might be a source of water (from your machine, not the rain or washing the rig, you already covered that as not being the source)

Once you find out, please post up what you discovered.
