I have replaced the seal, but I am still getting water in. I can't figure out where it's coming from. I have felt all around the top of the door on the inside and the sides, and they aren't wet. It's just at the bottom. Thoughts?
2017 Quantum WS31
It is not leaking through the door.
Are you able to dry it out easily. Here is what I would do to avoid being locked inside that compartment...
1. Drain all water from fresh water tank. Make sure the bottom is soundly dry. Leave open to air out etc.
2. Check weather forecast for rain. If rain is near wait on the rains and inspect afterwards.
3. Assuming still dry or no rains, start with water hose around the door. Don't over pressure the water but make for a good rain storm, wait on the outside to dry and inspect.
4. Assuming still dry and still no rain. Fill fresh water tank, don't use any water but wait, inspect after a day.
5. If rain is in forecast wait on rain test, if rain is still not in forecast, you may consider moving out of the desert , I heard it does not rain in Indianapolis in the summer time, it might be true :whistling:
6. If still dry, I would start with plumbing, one fixture at a time, starting with the plumbing that is closes to that door. You may have to wait a full day to isolate the plumbing fixtures.
While you are testing, I am gonna place my bet that says your bathroom sink and/or shower has a leak under the floor and it simply flows to that compartment. Likely a fitting that has worked loose with the pressurize water so I predict you will see BEFORE you get a chance to test each fixture and BEFORE it rains in Indiana.
FWIW, we were looking to by a Quantum ( I think it was 28 or 29'), we got caught inside of it at a Dealers lot as a massive rainstorm came through. The coach was nice and cold; so we just stayed in waiting on the storm to pass, we must have seen 4 water leaks
