On our 36RL, we occasionally had our garage slamlock door come open while on the road. Easy fix - remove the metal plates under the slamlock latches and put a shim under the front side of the plates (I used three small washers) and rescrewd them. Haven't had a problem since.

I have had to make similar adjustments to the doors. In my case, they had the metal brackets too far in and would not latch. Road trip this weekend so I will see if I made the right adjustments.

That's happened to me twice. I thought I had failed to latch the door securely when I closed it. My wife accused me of being senile. Now I can tell her it wasn't my fault at least this time!
Thanks for the tip and the rare occasion to tell my wife shewas wrong.

But I think, that is the temporary solution of the problem. Search for the permanent solution.
