We can’t get any channels on our redwood from the antenna. On a coach we had, there was a button to activate the antenna but we can’t seem to find it in this one. We have the 38rl model.

Thanks,
Rick and Cathy Bremer

I have a different model but mine is in the top of the cabinet in the bedroom. What year is yours?

There also has been several threads about not being able to get park cable when that switch is left on.

Ours is a 2015. There is no cabinet in our bedroom but the tv pops out with storage behind it. But, unfortunately we can’t find any button or switch in there.

On our 2015 it is on the wall to the left and behind the bedroom tv

I had a 16 38RL.... stand in the bedroom and face the Television.. look to the left of the TV, there is . cabinet door, open the door.
On the ceiling there is a couple cable hookups, directly behind them is a small push in button, still located on the ceiling.. when that is pushed in, a small green light will illuminate . .
The button is anly about 1/8" - 3/16" in diameter, and only extends about the same from the ceiling... very small..
Go re scan for channels and enjoy.

Nope, Our casing behind the tv is totally enclosed. There are two shelves and we have taken everything off the shelves and there is no cabinet, button or anything except a outlet and 2 cable connectors. We sure wish there was an opening of some sort.

You WILL have a plate similar to this near the bedroom tv, may be in the closet, on the ceiling or behind the tv. Mine was in the upper left cabinet at the foot of the bed far back in the top right corner of the cabinet making it difficult to see. The larger black spot is the on/off switch & the smaller dot is a led light that will probably be green when the booster is on. To watch antenna tv the booster must be on (green light on) then scan the channels on the tv, to connect to park cable the booster must be off (green light off) then also scan the tv. The scan must be done EVERY time you relocate the rv to a different area or change inputs.

Mine is just like this. Not behind the TV but on the ceiling of the cabinet next to the TV with Power, Cable and a 12V lighter type plugin. I think that little button is on that 12V receptacle IIRC.

Pretty hard to see that little button behind the cable when it is brown.

on our 2015 RL-38 its in the bedroom , facing the TV the , inside left side cabinets on the ceiling is the cable for the antenna and the push on / off switch is as shown in the pictures above. Look on the roof where the bat wing antenna is , it should be inside the coach very close to that. I would say its not going to be on a slide out (that would add to much cable from the power supply to the antenna.

Our tv is on a slide. We’ve looked with a flashlight throughout the bedroom for any kind of object that looks like any of the pictures, no luck. Guess we will buy an external antenna

The only TV in a slide that I know of is the main Living Room TV, the Bedroom TV isn't is a slide on any Redwood model that I know of.

I am lost... EVERY RV TV needs an antenna booster... (I think )

As far as I know EVERY RV has an antenna booster!
The size of tv has nothing to do with whether or it has an antenna booster.
But with all the new fangled high tech stuff anymore who knows, technology has left this old man way far behind.

My 2020 has ALL KINDS of technology... wifi... wifi repeater... it creates it's own wifi, computer stuff.... AND it still has a little button to make the TV signal

We both feel very technical, but this antenna problem has kicked our butts! The external antennas aren't the best, but it's better than nothing!

I had a hard time finding ours on our 2019 3901WB. It's in the bedroom, on the switchplate the cable plugs into in the ceiling above the TV. Tiny button, same color as the switchplate. Hard to see without a flashlight.

Please take a photo of your bedroom tv wall. There is no Redwood model that has a curbside slide in the bedroom. All bedroom slides are the bed. On my 36 RL the booster is in the cabinet directly next to the TV. The cabinet setups have changed over the years and also vary by model but unless they've done some major changes, the booster is always within a few feet of the tv. There have been some instances where the factory mounted the booster behind the tv (really dumb but not hard to change).

If you can post a photo it might help us to locate it for you.
