Apology

I didn't know Farrell's still exist! My very first job at 15 1/2 years old was at Farrell's in Metrocenter Mall in Phoenix. That was a long, long time ago.

"Farrell's is Fabulous Fun"
They opened up several in So Cal maybe 5 years ago. 2 of them are 10-15 minutes from my house

It seems to me that Lemonis' comment is being misquoted out of context. I went back to original statement and listened to his interview on CNBC and his tone isn't as divisive as I thought it would have been based on press reports.

He used poor wording for sure, but was talking against racism, not Trump supporters in general. To me it sounds like he said that if you support racist views, then don't shop at Camping World. And even that was stated as part of a larger conversation on how CEOs need to be careful how they interject their personal views, so was using it as an example.

I did the same and came to the same conclusion. It was a deal breaker for me and CW until I went back to his original comment. Poor wording but his intent obviously was not to dis all Trump supporters but radical racists. Still shouldn't have said it but ok...more evidence of politicized "news"reporting! BTW I was in CW this week and a salesman who worked there told me he personally had two pending deals cancelled over this. Maybe it's a bit of leverage if getting a better deal? Buying RVs is not like marrying the company. Just saying.

Gee...I knew I had a second reason for walking out of a possible deal on a 2017 leftover ( new) Thor Axis 24.1 and it was the CEO of CW. Nice salesman but a real nasty offensive Asst. Sales Manager. In the end I got a fair deal ( just a few bucks more) on a new 2018 Thor Axis 24.1
Actually, I don't care who won but I did want America to regain it's rightful place within the free world. So I guess I can give a big TaDa to myself!
That's it for that!

I don't really care what CEO said what to whom about racism or any other issue. They have a right to their opinions just like everyone else. IMHO CW has more issues than their leaders big mouth. Based on my experience with them this year I wouldn't let their techs change batteries on my toothbrush.

He spoke of no matter which side your on, reference to 2 sides: hence the big problem today in the U.S. When I served in the Military in the 60's, "in country" we all got along and did our 100% best to keep each other alive because no matter what color, race religion or anything else that was different about each one of us, to us there was only "ONE" side, the American side. That's the problem a lot of people just seem not to get or seem to forget today and seems Mr. Lemonis may have forgotten for a moment but, came to his senses in apology. Let's get back to R.V. stuff, O.K.?

Was told by a wise old fulltimer that we met when we first started fulltiming that there are 3 things you DO NOT discuss in a rv park/campground;
#1 - POLITICS
#2 - RELIGION
#3 - The best brand of truck
It should also apply to rv forums in my opinion!

The mouth speaks the truth...even if it's a lie, it speaks truthfully of what you are. The billfold will sometimes try to cover for the mouth. If only people put their brain in gear before the step on the throttle of the mouth. What's said is said!!
