Awning power

I have a 2017 Thor Miramar 34.2. I have a IN / OUT switch for my awning. I also have RAPID CAMP remote control of it also. I also have a wind sensor that automatically closes the awning in high wind. I want to add Carefree of Colorado's EZ-zipblocker sun shade. The only way do do this is to install a switch that shuts off all power to the awning while it is out. I have bought the stabilizer kit to hold it to the ground while it is out to prevent damage. The 12 volt fuse panel has a fuse labeled awning, guess what, there are no wires connected to it. I have also pulled all fuses out of the RAPID CAMP control panel and the awning still works. I know when the ignition key is on the awning will not work. I am guessing there is a relay in the dash that cuts this power off. Thor's wiring information has a lot to be desired. Has anyone installed a switch before? If so how did you do it?
Thanks,
Joe
