I have a 2023 Axis 24.1 with the Ford 7.3L V8. Specs indicate that the oil capacity with a new filter is 8 quarts. I have completed the oil change and with the new filter and 8 quarts of oil added I am still showing 1/2 quart low (between the two holes in the dip stick). The MH is level in the driveway both front to back and side to side.

Is the 8 quarts accurate? Is the dip stick right? Anyone else have this issue? Should I add an additional 1/2 quart so that it shows full?

Did you use the same size filter? Some filters come in a long version and hold a little more oil.
Oh, and I suggest do as the Nomad says and run till it gets to operating temp. Let it sit till all the oil runs back into the pan then check and add as needed.
Oil level is considered ok when it falls between the full and add lines on the stick.

Thanks guys. After running for 5 minutes AND waiting an hour to recheck the level, it checks out.
I guess patience IS a virtue.
