I got back home Tuesday after being gone since May 18. Stayed in campgrounds in Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi, all state parks except for the stay at the music festival in Texas, where I was most of the time. No major issues with either the camper or TV. I am very pleased with the TV, as I averaged about 11 mpg pulling the trailer. Must have traveled about 2400 miles and 95% of the time I was towing. I did notice that a few of the LED lights on the awning were out, but I seldom use them so no big deal. I think I have read about others having issues with them. This is my 10th year going to the annual festival, and hope to make more. I was thinking the other day about the first one where I had a duffel of clothes, a guitar, and rode out with a friend to stay in his pop-up with him. Now I am loaded down with instruments, clothes, supplies, etc. and towing a travel trailer. My, how times have changed... for the better. :thumb:

That is awesome. Glad you had a trouble free good time. I have been wanting to go to LA. Any recommendations?

sounds like you had a good trip, glad to hear it. we will be heading down to St Augustine FL than on to east Texas next month. in two week we are going to pull up to Wisconsin.

The only parks I have stayed in are right off I-12, except Sam Houston Jones which is near Lake Charles and off I-10. I have been in Fontainebleau, Tickfaw, Sam Houston Jones and Fairview-Riverside. All are pretty good in my opinion. The state park website is pretty informative.
