This is what a BIM 160 looks like, although I am a bit surprised that they were installed as early as 2016.

The BIM terminals are clearly labeled... amazing how the Thor assembly kids messed that up! To check just use a voltmeter and check continuity between positive battery post and corresponding correct BIM terminal. No beep... no joy!![]()
On the left side of the left picture is a Trombetta solenoid which connects/disconnects the chassis and house battery banks together. To thhe right is the BIRD - GAS that is the "smarts" to control the solenoid.Hi David,
I am guessing I don't have the BIM 160. Is this what I am looking for, a previous "BIM" model?

Mine charged just fine until I switched to lithium house batteries and the lithium bim.
My theory for it now not charging is the voltage differential(though it used to click every 20minutes or so and now I hear nothing).

Yes, but a BIM has the solenoid and "smarts" integrated into one device. Thanks for the reply. Is it supposed to act just like the BIM? To charge the house battery when plugged in?
Thank you as always!
