Hello again everyone,

So yet another project holding up the inverter project is are the bolts holding in the tray for the house battery
tray to slide out on my 2018 Majestic 23A. They are 2 Torx bolts that hold a bar. I've tried a T-40 which doesn't fit
tight and slips and of course everything else is too big or small. (and they're tamper proof with the pin in the middle)

I'm at the point of just sheering off the thread portions. Any ideas? Cruise Canada did this so renters wouldn't fool around
with it, I'm guessing.....

Thanks

Don't know of a standard equivelant.......

The link you sent is the set that I have (security bits). I twisted it and bent the **** out of it. Got another set with a 3/8 drive socket and it slips.......

That does look like a security torx head. If T40 is too small maybe it's a T45?

But if you don't have the right bit to remove it and you don't plan to reuse it, maybe you have one of these universal screw head removers?

That's exactly what I' going to do. This has been holding up my inverter install since Saturday. I hate when projects linger. That, and I want it done for the maiden trip from Toronto to Nashville for the weekend trip at the end of the month. Just going to add a second house battery and tie it to the existing, solar is pretty much done and inverter.

Thanks

Security bolt as seen in many restrooms!
Looks like a (torx) T30 or 35 (or larger) otherwise.
If you are clever- knock off the center pin with a punch and hammer- might take a few hits back and forth to break...
Maybe grind 2 flats on sides and try a wrench/ vise-grip plier.
Drill out center with large bit to pop head off...
otherwise universal bolt remover as 16ACE27 showed...
Work in a bike shop for 20 years and all kinds of ideas might pop up.

I suppose Cruise Canada (America) decided to use tamper proof heads..... nothing the grinder couldn't get past. Thanks.
