Got the call, camper is in Denver and we can pick it up tomorrow. Then head to Kansas Friday for a family get together. Can't wait to see everyone's eyes when they see our new home.

Great news! Enjoy the trip and drive careful.

Have your wife video your rig with her cell phone while you drive by. This way you can see what you look like going down the road. This sure beats watching your reflection in the windows of stores and possibly causing an accident.

Don't know if she will get out while I drive by...Ha Ready to get it out and she what she is like. Hope it is as great as everyone says.

Oh how exciting!! We are so envious! How long did it take from ordering?

It is tomorrow and yes still very upset. Never heard back from Redwood or Hilton on my emails.

Give Lynn a call in customer service. He helped me with a recent issue. Unfortunately, the supply chain is pretty ragged in the RV industry. It can be exceptionally frustrating when your dealer and Redwood are doing everything they can and it's a supplier that isn't holding up their end of the bargain.

JHardin,

Without getting into our ordering and delivery issues, let me suggest taking Hilton out of the equation. We found we could not count on getting clear, accurate, timely information from him. This almost caused use to walk away from Redwood. It wasn't until Doug Richards stepped in to help, that things started getting straighten out quickly. It took an addition 8 weeks to build us a unit from the frame up but when it came out of manufacture it was perfect. So keep up the good fight it's worth it in the long run.

Are Hilton and Doug Richards folks at Windish? Taking mine in there for its annual tomorrow and have never been there before. Would appreciate any insight!

Congrats!

We are waiting for our 38RL, ordered first week of Feb. hope to get it within two weeks. If I understand correctly it was off the production line last week but it will take some time to get it to the dealer.

Looking forward to take delivery of our new home, hope it will happen soon!

Congratulation to all of you who already are there now ;-))

Feel that we are pretty prepared reading all posts about things to look for at the PDi and how great Redwood are with their customers.

Will for sure share our experiences with you all!

No Hilton is one of Redwood's Regional Sales Reps. who works with their dealers. We came in contact with him as a result of working with Tarpley in Durango, which by the way has been great to work with. I can not give you a specific title for Doug Richards but I have to tell you he's got major horsepower to get things done. As for Windish we've had good luck working with them. Only reason we didn't buy with them was at the time they were priced about ten grand higher then Tarpley and some of their customer reviews weren't the best.

Ah shoot Darrell, I should have remembered that! We discussed heading over Wolf Creek to take delivery.

No More Wolf Creek, No More Wolf Creek

LOL, I would be interested in your experience with Windish for your annual! We have never had our rig in there for any service issues and It's not in my plans to drive Wolf Creek again to get our annual done in November. Anyway, hope all goes well.

Darrell

Well I survived.

Took a little persuasion to get it done in the day, but they came through. 2 hrs labor and $10 stuff, for a total of $268. The did fix some caulking and some lose moulding, and he was able to get parts ordered under warranty (new fender, cabinet lift rods, and stuff to repair the door jamb in the hall).

Tight quarters in there - wow. They are stuffed with new inventory getting ready for spring, and there is one way in and one way out. We had to wait in line to pick ours up because one in front of us was a new delivery. Not for the faint of heart watching them maneuver through the lot.

Thanks to everyone for all the replies. We had a good PDI found very little wrong. Took the RW to Kansas for 4 days and just got back. (High winds going out and higher winds coming back). 9.2 mpg going out and 5.4 mpg coming back. No problems with the camper or the truck. Had a great birthday out there with 33 family members. So far we love the camper. Now we need get moved out of our home and into the camper for the long haul.
