I have a 2021 Daybreak 22 Go. I waxed the house using Turtle Wax carnauba but the shine is hazy in some areas. All areas are in good condition pre-waxing. Any recommendations of brands or methods?

Here's a good read... Enjoy!

Note that I have since switched to using a product called RejeX instead of Meguiars Flagship wax. Is it "better"? I think it's easier/quicker to apply, and lasts maybe a month longer. And I can apply RejeX to the ENTIRE RV... glass and all. It's like Rain-X on glass. And it gives superior UV protection for the decals.

Almost anything is better protection than carnauba wax.
Fine as a food additive...way outdone decades ago as a car product.

Type in:
Carnauba vs nano
Carnauba vs synthetic

A wax is not going to fix hazy. You will need to use a polish or compound to make it shine.

Chtateau is RejeX safe to apply over decals. It has petroleum distillates and I was under the assumption that anything with petroleum distillates would cause problems and cause the decal edges to curl. Do you apply to the entire surface or work around decals?

I actually emailed RejeX (Corrosion Technologies) a couple years ago and asked specifically about the decals. They told me it's actually RECOMMENDED to apply over vinyl decals. It's been used in the aircraft and marine industry applied over decals for years. I also did a lot of Google searches about this and found nothing alarming. So unless they've hired someone to scrub the Internet???

My routine has been to apply TWO coats in the fall (first of November) before storage, followed by coating the decals with a coat of 303 Aerospace Protectant. The RV sets out in the elements uncovered in Ohio all winter. First of April it gets washed, then a single coat of RejeX. I usually give the decals a quick wipe with 303 after washes during the summer season.

5 summers and 6 winters so far and the decals still look new... save for a few minor tree limb scratches, rock dings, etc. But no UV damage!!
