Any tips on removing the plastic walnut center part of the dash? I will need to replace a switch and might do the radio at the same time.

If it’s two long bolts, top and bottom, how in the world do you get to them, especially with the dog house in the way?

Probably no real reason to remove that part. The radio slides straight out when removed with the release tools.
Pull the doghouse and put a yoga mat over the engine. You can lay on the engine on your back and get your head under the dash to see what you need to remove.
If the switch is on the HVAC panel, that whole panel pops out as well.

Thanks, $10 says I find another project to do while doing that.

In my 2018 Hurricane 29M the walnut center is just an overlay. If you get it off, there is still a big piece of plastic. I had to trouble shoot the gen switch and did it laying flat on the dog house and reaching up behind the center section.

Haha no one tells you the simplest things to fix in an RV require you to be a contortionist!

It’s great learning everything though and you all are a tremendous help!
