Challenger roof issue, is this a warranty item?

Just bought a 2023 challenger 37FH from a dealer with 2300 miles on it. I have a broken arm, so I never climbed up on the roof when we purchased it (I know, big mistake). We just drove it cross country as we bought it in FL and we live in CA. My solar guy climbed on top to see about adding extra panels and he immediately noticed that both sides of the roof (drivers and passengers side) from front to back have bubbling on the roof and it is from the metal siding underneath lifting up. You can push the siding down and it lifts right back up the entire length. You can also feel in some areas the staples have even been pulled out. My question is there are zero signs of water leaks or damage that would have caused this. Is this a normal occurance with thor and would this also be covered under warranty? Also in pic of passenger side the drain pipe cap was taken off while taking measurements, not from damage.

You bought it as new or as used?
What's its in service date?

When you asked a Thor dealer or Thor, what did they say?

We bought it used with 2800 miles on it. It just fell out of the 1yr warranty by 2 months.
We contacted Thor and they want us to take it into a dealer to have them submit a ticket but they couldn't tell us if that's a warranty item or not. I was mainly posting to see what uphill battle were against the other people have seen similar issues as this to their roofs being on a new unit.

We just needed additional info to tell you what has been expected and what really happens.

I would expect to pay for an entire roof redo and anything less expensive will seem like a bonus.

It's not battle.
Once someone Thor trusts takes a look at it;
It is or it isn't.

Being florida purchased expect everyone involved to say it was hurricane damage and not a faulty factory installation.

Being a used rig out of warranty I would think Thor is not going to fix it for free. It's good that it's not leaking yet but be careful of the fix. An easy thing to do would be to screw the loose underlayment down, thru the roof coating, then cover the screw heads with dicor. That would hold everything in place, but introduce numerous areas that need annual inspection. Being that you're in California and the selling dealer in Florida you can't just take it back and demand a solid fix. Best wishes for a satisfactory outcome.

Forget warranty repair. It ain't happening! I'd suggest spending a few bucks on a mobile RV tech to inspect VERY THOROUGHLY and determine if there's any hint of leaks. I can't stress VERY THOROUGHLY enough!! It is common for membrane roofs like TPO to show signs along the edges of not being adhered completely to the underlayment... which in itself isn't a big deal.

Once you determine there are ABSOLUTELY no signs of water intrusion, cover all four edges of the roof (the screw-down strips holding the roof) with at least 4" wide Eternabond tape. This will make a PERMANENT water proof barrier, and will eliminate needing to replace deteriorated lap sealant.

There's your warranty repair!! :)
