Changing toad vehicle

I checked the GOOD SAM Dinghy Guide and the only 2020 F-150 that is towable is the FWD!

It is the same for every F-150 from 2015 up.

If yours is towable, it is special.

the 2020 Ford F-150 Platinum can be flat towed:
Flat towing: The F-150 has a feature that allows it to be towed on all four wheels behind another vehicle without damaging the transmission or gearbox.

I have not read the Owners manual but it was one of the first things asked to OP so he has confirmed.

OP is wanting to get a 4 corner weigh, but I would simply just weigh the RV and maybe even the truck separately see how much the RV is under 26000, knowing exact weight of truck is more important to me than 4 corner.

They make F150s that are Front Wheel Drive? That's what FWD stands for.

If you meant 4WD then you are correct. It must be 4WD with a neutral position transfer case. Pretty common knowledge and mentioned in Post #2.

Thanks for your reply, the four corner weight is for proper air pressure in tires, I will get total weight to make sure I’m under the 26,000 lb weight, and my truck is 4wd so it can be flat towed just trying to make sure engine and transmission will not struggle with it

Yeah so I know

I have 4X4 and my tires are always set to what is on yellow sticker. It is nice to do 4 corner weigh to see, I only say from prospective if it might cause a delay for you to simply know if to can tow the truck or not?

I did the engineering math based on the hypothetical maximum weight on axles for each of my tires based on Goodyear specifications and it always fit the range of 82psi on yellow sticker. In fact, if you reverse engineer, to get to the next range of psi of the RV670 tires where tire pressure would need adjustments, the weights required to warrant would mean that I would be exceeding the axle weight limits. Because I am well under the GVWR it was a mute exercise. In order for you to pull that F-150 you too will have to be well under your GVWR (26,000) otherwise it is game over. The latter is what some have been forewarning as a concern.

We will wait on what you learn, thanks for keeping us posted

Yes, my BAD! I meant 4WD not FWD.

2022 Palazzo towing a 2010 Chevy Tahoe

We are currently towing a geo tracker with our 2023 Thor Palazzo that has the 300 Cummins engine, we are thinking of towing my 2020 Ford F150 Platinum for more room and comfort. Did not know if any one was towing a bigger vehicle and how the Palazzo handled it being it has the smaller engine than most of the diesel pushers.

We have no problems towing our Tahoe with our Palazzo 340 Cummins.

Our front axle weight is 7300lb. and rear axle weight is 17450lb. and my truck weighed 5600lb. that puts me over by 350 lbs. is that enough to be concerned with

I don't think 350 is within the accuracy of the scale at 30,000 lbs. What is that, like 1%? Not a big issue in my world.
